Works and provides Mercon V.

I was very pleased to see this product as Mercon V Motor Fluid is quite expensive. I put this on a '94 Mazda B3000 with an A4LD transmission. First, I changed the liquid by draining the pan three times (something like a house flush). After adding Valvoline Dex/Merc I didn't like how it changed. The addition seems to have made the shifts faster, with less fluctuation between 2nd and 3rd place. Shifts also feel stiffer. Pretty good product.

Great product got rid of a terrible throttle body Ford

I bought a used 1997 Ford Econoline E150 and the transmission had a throttle body. I took it to my mechanic and he did a full transmission oil flush, drained the pan and replaced the transmission filter. When he put in the new gear oil, I asked him to use a bottle and a half of lube to add to the new oil. Since then I've noticed a definite improvement in shifting and the shutter is gone.

Topping up the residual fluid when partially changing the ATF! 2001 Ford Taurus

Pumped out just over 4 liters of ATP from Ford Taurus and then topped up with this and 4 fresh liters of Amalie Mercon V. Liquid feels much better and passes the paper towel test! To check the ATF level, place a few drops from the dipstick on a paper towel, immerse the dipstick in a bottle of new ATF and place an equal number of drops on a clean area. Compare the spread and color of the liquid, a good liquid spreads quickly through the towel, the old liquid basically stays in the same place and
