After trying different types of plungers my toilet is still stuck. Went out and bought a toilet snail, but looks like the blockage is further down the pipe where the snake snail can't get to. Almost gave up and called a plumber before deciding to give the item another try. And imagine it worked on the first try. It only takes about 2 compressions and the blockage is completely gone. Highly recommended

Depending on how clogged your toilet is, part of the handle may be uncomfortably covered in "water". Another disadvantage is that the flask does not allow excess water to evaporate when inserted into the holder.
