Not what I expected.

I thought this product could be charged and then used because of how it was presented, cupboards, under a cupboard etc. You really can't use it if it's not plugged in. So without an available USB charger within range, this light will not work. If so, it would be five stars because it has a good range of brightness and intensity.

Good lighting - electrical noise

I bought the light output and love it, it sits under a shelf on my desk in my electronics lab, illuminates what I'm working on very well, reason for the low output Star rating, there it produces so much RF output after switching on that it completely destroys the reception of the stereo receiver on the bench. Can't say I've ever seen this in LEDs, but for most applications I think it's a great light.

one died after a while and seems to be getting warmer than you'd think. the rest is now flickering

EDIT: lasted a little longer after checking but then everything won't stop flickering so needs to be replaced. - one died after flickering, hate that they take 2 plugs (bought a double USB plug to solve this) and seem to get hotter than they should. otherwise 3 of them still work

better to see good for wall lights

I don't usually look when I'm typing but often I have to press the F keys and need to look, F5 or F6 etc. This light illuminates my keyboard well and eliminates this problem. I installed it under the ledge above the keyboard and it sits there nicely. Only knocked over twice in the last 6 months and the magnetic mount is very handy.
