On the plus side we have a house from the 1880's and these curtains look like they've been around since time immemorial. They fit in perfectly. The downside is that white is a dull shade. Not bright white. Not bright white. It's like they've gotten dirtier with washing over the years. They look good on my white walls, but I just don't like them. I was so excited to receive these curtains for my home renovation project! They are beautiful! The perfect shade of ecru for my rustic French decor. So when I ordered them in March they stayed in their air conditioned packaging until today when I unwrapped them to hang in my finished living room. You really can't beat this price for curtains so overall they're not bad. But you also get what you pay for. As others have said they come in more than one shade so don't plan on buying a set to see how you like it and then buying another set to match.
