Installed in less than 3 minutes. Fits almost like a glove. Good quality and unlike other reviews not a single strap broke, everything went perfect and the straps are well made and tightened for a snug fit.

The cover could have had full 5 stars except for one article. The lid was actually 1 inch too big for my setup, everything should fit just fine. However, the straps were at least 6 inches shorter. I think that's a pretty big oversight. So the case was good quality, it looks nice but I had to redo it to install because of the length of the strap.

As I really need some time to install my window air conditioner on a solid outdoor platform these covers are (as advertised) almost useless but bought anyway to have some use I could. I had to cut out the bottom panel because (OH YES) the AC sits on a solid platform. This flimsy cover is also not deep enough, requiring an additional two inches to reach the window/wall. NEVER AGAIN!

So this window air conditioner is great for keeping dirt and light rain out. It rained all night and the next morning I looked at my air conditioner case and saw that the bottom was filled with water. Water was seeping through the seam or something and filling the lid/AC with water. The water stayed for over a week from waiting so long before removing the cover from the window air conditioner. You might want to look for something else in terms of full waterproofing.

I used this product to cover my kitchen window air conditioner because I got tired of taking it out and putting it back in every year. It fit the device very well and was easy to install. I live in the Pacific Northwest where it rains a lot and after 6 months of installation it's still dry and the draft has been greatly reduced. I'd recommend another insulating cover for the front of the unit inside if like me you're leaving it out all winter. I would buy this product again.

This is a decent AC cover at an affordable price. It's box-shaped, so it covers the front, top, sides, and bottom of the device (at least the part that sticks out), unlike some products that leave the bottom exposed.
