First of all, I'm getting a FULL REFUND as this is one of the sellers that writes fake reviews. This item IS NOT worth the money paid. It's a flimsy THIN rendition of what you see in the picture. The hood is small and no where near the full drape you see.It could be worn ONCE before it falls apart and it's nothing that would keep you warm. One of the reviews states it real velvet. Great costume Accessory. Velour outside, silver fabric inside. Cape does not come with pockets I added my own and it has a bit of weight to it. Not a light cape if you want to shield from wind. I definitely recommend

This is a very nice cape! The quality is good. The lining is pretty and feels soft. I put the cape in the dryer for ten minutes with a damp cloth and the wrinkles came right out.

I won a costume contest with this cape and would recommend it. It is warm and also fairly elegent for the price. The internal pattern is sort of Victorian looking and I would almost wear it to the opera. The cape kept me warm during a night walking tour in light rain and fairly heavy San Francisco winds. This is a great cape for the money. I am very happy with it. I am 5'10" and it just touches the ground so it is a great length for those of us who are a little taller than average. The black velvet part is not a high quality velvet and it does tend to collect hair/fuzzys. It is fairly heavy so great for those RenFest days that are a bit on the chilly side. Over all a great buy that if taken care of should last for more than one outing.
