Luxury New Zealand Sheepskin Rug: Soft Fur For Bedroom, Living Room & Motorcycle Seat Cover Review

This Sheepskin rug is an excellent item, it looks and feels good, the only thing bothers me is that when the rug arrived; because of the small packaging it was folded several times and now the rug has permanent wrinkles, I do not want to iron the rug because it might damage the back side, the only thing I am doing is brushing with pet brush but can still see the fold wrinkle marks from the top hair side.

I bought this New Zeeland Sheepskin Rug for my kundalini yoga practice, and I am glad I did. I suffer from arthritic pain in my hips and sitting crosslegged on this fluffy, natural rug makes quite a bit of difference. I can sit for longer without having to move my legs The added sensuousness to my routine is the bonus I was looking for. Also, it looks awesome. I'm asked to rate its durability but I haven't had it long enough to make a judgment.

I ordered a white single -pelt throw for a chair. It was very white and very fluffy when it arrived . As promised. I actually wanted if to be a little more natural looking, so I rinsed it with warm water only, no soap, and let in dry outside. It did turn more curly and less white, which is exactly what I wanted. Half the price of the others I saw, and very good quality.

We bought this for our dog because he loved our lambskin on the couch. When we ordered it, he immediately walked over and did not get up. Then our friends toddler came over and started rolling in it. We bought another for our baby's room and will probably get another for the dog upstairs. They are really stylish, soft and I love that it's non-toxic. We have bought lamb skins that seem to off gas for a few days and these do not. Excellent product.

i'm on my third one and they are a dream. i just wish they weren't made in china . if i want more i will be more careful to note this.

Amazing soft and I am looking forward to decorate my new renovated house with it and post picture by then. Last night my beagle won't come to the bedroom when I looked for him, he is enjoying the lambskin so much more lol

Size is about what I expected. Long soft wool. No extra padding on the back. There was a slight yellow tinge to start, looks worse in the picture than it is in person. Against the black couch it appears pretty white and natural. I didn't expect it to be pure white as it is sheepskin and SHOULD have some variation in it. I think it looks natural as it should, and much better than a throw for the dog to lay on. Would definitely order a larger one for the tile in the master bedroom.

Truly lovely. So soft ,scent free and very cozy.as you can see. Will be saving mine for the nights we want to cuddle or I want to read in front of the fire.

I liked the thought of having an authentic sheepskin as a small accent rug in my office, but, honestly the faux sheepskins are just as soft and way more washable. The price point just made this a no-go for me.

It came combed and the first 4 i vought werent combed and I prefer them natural and uncomved lime they use to be.! They get matted and dont unmatt.! Iuse these to prevent bedsores as I weight96 pds. Same company less quality . The go to China now from what I understand.

I bought 2 of these for my bedroom as prayer rugs for my knees but my Cocker Spaniel Bruno is very possessive of these rugs and I almost never get to step on them even, because he sleeps there and never wants to move.One time I accidentally almost stepped on him early in the morning when I woke up but he didn't even move.These are like drugs for him 🤣🤣🤣 And they are so beautiful! So soft!

Yes, it appears to be a real skin. What kind, I can't say. I did a burn test to verify that is real fur because the hide seems to be thin. I'm not a hide expert so I don't know how thin it should be . I recommend placing it under your sheet to keep it from rolling or bunching when you move in bed. I like it. I wish I had a while mattress pad made of it, but that would be the size of a buffalo.

I love everything about it. It is very plush and very warm to feel. But I just really wish it was whiter! It has a yellow cast to it and it shows more compared to my white furniture and decor. I have it on my bedroom floor right beside my side of the bed. I am keeping it despite of the disappointment of the color.

Well, not going to lie, I bought this for my cat, yep - I am that person. I was looking for something not made in China because she tends to chew on everything like a puppy, and I found this. It is so soft and seems to be very good quality rug, and she loves napping on it. When I am allowed to use it I love putting my feet on it too. Also looks great in front of my fireplace. Excellent value for quality rug.

It makes our family room look cozy. The rug feels soft, thick and luxurious although I can't tell if it's real sheepskin or not. But the price, I'll keep it.

I give a very hard critique on products so I usually do not leave a review, BUT, you MUST buy this. It is true to size and comfort. I literally just pulled it out the plastic, felt it, placed it down and laid on it., I haven't gotten up yet. My lay here for the night. It's thick, soft, silky but not fake-like-sheep-skin silky. It does not smell like sheep skin. It's ready to use, or in my case, lay on.

Turned light blue. After 5 months owning, 4 washes with only another grey blanket, air dry only, the sheepskin fur turned from medium dark grey to light blue. It’s definitely soft, think it’s real, just changes color. You can see in my photo it’s grey at the roots then goes light blue at the ends. It’s become the dogs sheepskin now, she loves it!
