The recipient of these saddles was very pleased with the fit and finish aside from the lack of bolts. However, if you have the right screws in your garage, this problem is easy to solve.

Putting that shiny plate on the threshold made the door new again. It also holds the first 1/4 inch of the vinyl tile so there's no problem sweeping the door. I'm glad I got it. I cut this out with a hacksaw and also cut out the door jamb a bit and then hammer it in lightly. Nice, weatherproof fit.

Well built, solid construction. The milled grooves had minor nicks and scratches, apparently from storage or handling (not shipping/shipping). The product was installed on the floor under the dishwasher to close the space between the dishwasher's plywood base and the vinyl floor. Therefore, it would be nice if scuffs and scratches did not spoil the appearance.

This threshold did exactly what I needed. The notches that fit around the door frame were easy to make with a jigsaw and metal cutting blades. I didn't know there were special blades for cutting aluminum until I was done. Ordinary metal blades with fine teeth quickly clog with aluminum. I combined the sill with the sill overlay to provide a better visual transition to our outdoor steps. Only criticism was that the 'included' fasteners for the sill were missing.
