It's ok. But I'm not impressed, first of all, the loop to attach the magnet holder to the left shoulder strap is missing. This strap is on the right side ONLY. Why did they bother to make it removable? It's comfortable enough, it has a little insulation in a symbolic gesture to keep the water cool despite the dark color. a lot in terms of small utility bags. So carrying a "set" will only mess up all your gear. Overall I found this package quite disappointing.

Good for mountain bikes and road bikes.

I do longer solo day trips and I carry a raincoat, some water, lunch, tire repair supplies, a spare tube, bike tools, etc. I wouldn't want to get stuck anywhere when I could escape somewhere in the Rocky Mountains. It worked well for me even on hot days. I also use it for fitness hikes in the mountains. Fits me well, I'm 6ft 1in, 195 lbs. Fits snugly to the back when riding or hiking. Fairly aerodynamic, doesn't bother me much in crosswinds. Strap can be tightened/secured so they don't burst on

Great size, fit and features

This backpack is the perfect size for hiking. I was thinking of one of the smaller ones but it has room for first aid, an extra rain sweater, lunch and other small items I wouldn't be able to carry on my 20 year old camel back. Others have complained about the sealing and yes you have to be very careful to make sure the lid is perfectly horizontal to sit on the bag but when you do it closes nicely. It's very comfortable with 2 liters of water and some gear and so much dryer on my back that the…

Nice backpack, good quality, not as big as it looks in the pictures

I already had a LOBO (3L water / 6L cargo) and wanted something with more space for longer mountain bike rides , so I also went for the MULE (3L water / 9L cargo). It's good packaging, CamelBak quality, has multiple compartments and the container packs and unpacks relatively easily. To avoid leakage, put the cap on the opening of the tank, press it lightly and turn it counterclockwise (!) first. Then when you feel a click, turn it clockwise and tighten it. The quick release hose clamp is very…

Leaks in two places for accessories

I expected more from Camelbak. I believe this company is the original developer (circa late 1980's) of these tank packs. You would think they could fix it now. This "upgrade" was meant to replace my regular $25 bladder backpack that I've been using for over a year with no leaks. I just had to keep changing buckles and it had few pockets. Pros: I love all the packs and the pack looked like it would last a long time. I hate to return it but. Cons: The MULE chamber leaks at the top and I believe…
