Mabef Pochade Box 12 5 MBM 105 Review

Love the thoughtful design! However, my box came with 1 bad bar. The clasps are flimsy and cheap, everything else is solid. I would give 5 stars if the locks were of better quality. If anyone from Mabef reads this please send me a new bar and try to use better bars in the future. I drilled 3 more holes in the palette to fit a total of 8 brushes. Not sure why five stars. I'll admit the wood is nice. The box is sturdy with good brass fittings Enough for many years But it weighs 7 lbs empty It fits 2 wet 8 x 10 panels in the lid as well as a 9.5" x 11.75" panel That's a bad thing It fits not on a standard 9x12 panel. I don't want to make custom sized panels. Sorry. Generally for a couple of 8x10 panels I have to lug around a relatively heavy box. The box design is great but the quality of the material leaves something to be desired. The wood fits pretty well and isn't bad quality, but the hardware sucks. Arrived with a broken latch.
