A piece of steel, that is, not 90 degrees, what a piece. Will. Don't waste money. I'll try to make it straight by lapping, but if you buy a machine square I expect it to be square. I've compared it to several other squares I have in the store and it consistently shows gaps when comparing the outside and inside. I haven't measured the gap opening yet, but it's definitely not square.

For simple things like this, this is a great little tool. Believe it or not, I have squares that won't square after being folded or worn. It looks really solid and is small enough to fit in many hard-to-reach places. A tip though, it comes with a thin film of anti-rust oil. I recommend that you keep it clean and lightly oiled. Don't let it hang in water or get glue stuck to it (like mine almost did), this will encourage rust.

A square that doesn't exist, what a unique invention. The square only has one job - I know because it's right there in the title, you know? Seriously, this square is off by almost 1/32 of an inch at less than three inches -- that's about one-eighth of each foot. That's too much sloppiness even for woodworking. Even at $16-17, it's nowhere near "exact" as the item's description claims. I think we could expect more from a company with a name like BoomGood. . lol! I sent this junk back and will be
