Easy to use small volume 20 to 30 gallons

Decarbonize quickly and effectively. A straight razor is required and worth the money. I use it on a 20 gallon tank, it works fine without the blade but

Good but it could be stronger Scraper

I haven't changed mine in 2 years and I honestly drop the first replacement which bent straight away; Thank god for the second. Connected and working great. It was my fault for dropping it, but it shouldn't bend that easily. I still believe I have a great product.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • There are minuses

I bought an algae clip for this magnet. Then I decided to buy a blade attachment. Warning, it took me forever to remove the algae clip. The grooves are no longer safe. Placed the blade and it was pretty much useless. Completely uneven on glass.

Works perfectly. on Algae Scrapers

Amazing product. Makes cleaning easier. If you occasionally let the water sink like I did and the glass dries out with a white coating, just scrape it off, just make sure the water constantly covers the product. And also just use a regular sponge for the edges and when you get close to the ground.

Pros
  • Keeping my Fists
Cons
  • Hard to say

Great when the blade is straight. Ugh

Overall this is a great product. When it works, it works really well. The problem is that the blades are thin and don't stay straight to release maximum surface area in one go (if that makes any sense?). Also, Mag-Float's blades should be removed when not in use. The blades are difficult to install and remove and extra care must be taken as the blades do not snap in and out as easily as they could. It's awkward to pry open plastic with a blade on the opposite end. To make it even more fun, the…

Why didn't I order this earlier?

Scraper blades greatly improved the cleaning power of mag floats. Now I can get my sandline and corners cleaner than ever without having to put my hands in the tanks. I was very happy to see that it comes in a 2 pack so I have a scraper for both reef aquariums, I use the small size in my 13.5 gallon Fluval Evo and the medium size in my 60 gallon Dice. This was one of the best purchases I've made since starting this hobby! The only downside I've found installing the blades is that I can now…

Great tool! suitable for aquarium cleaner

Scratches very well. Recently there was an outbreak of cyanobacteria. I got rid of it with the blue green stain remover as usual (great product btw) but it always leaves what I would call hard polyps on the glass. Even after death, cyanobacteria are a cause for concern. The magnetic float just glides over it, which is impressive considering how rough the brush is. The scraper attachment removes them in 1-3 passes. It's also great for the substrate/water boundary (although I'd stay away from…
