Copy Software by Design 1 card only 1 SD card only

Limitations for you: 1 SD card and 1 card - It doesn't matter how much memory or cards you have, do not buy more than 32 MB ! So if you use blue navigation software on your boat, be sure to pack your computer. If you are outside the restricted area imposed by the Magellens Map Submission feature, fire up the generator to get your computer running, then download the next map you need. I think this shouldn't be a problem if you have an ocean liner - I hope you don't have a smaller boat. I wouldโ€ฆ

Great Technology Is Limited by Poor Functionality

Think it would be great to have one GPS for your boat/car/hike that works for all three? think again The Magellan GPS MapSend software system makes it almost impossible to use your GPS for more than one of these categories. Can't believe I know I just got mine in the mail yesterday and I already feel cheated. The killer thing is that the inability to switch from BlueNav maps to Topo or Streets is due to DESIGN. There are no software or memory limitations that would prevent a device from usingโ€ฆ

good product but software needs revision

I bought Meridian Marine and was disappointed that the BlueNav charting software had serious flaws . Initially, you can only download one small chart per SD card. For example, Chesapeake Bay has 3 different maps, so you will need to erase your SD card and load another map. When you are in a sea kayak it is difficult to take a laptop with you. Also, you cannot download your track to your computer, which is a problem for sailboats. Another option is to buy very large maps on an SD card, which isโ€ฆ
