🚀 MagnaFlow Performance Muffler Exhaust Satin Finish 5in x 11in Oval Center/Center Straight-Through 12579 Review

I bought this product to replace the same product I bought 14 years ago. I had a bad burn that ripped a seam on a 14 year old muffler; otherwise it was still good. I am happy to have new Magnaflow products in the system. 3 inches inside and outside, 22 inches long. Usage: 1995 Suburb 454

Good quality muffler, looks good and has a nice smooth tone. Perfect for those who want some noise but don't want to shout everywhere. I bought this to replace an MBRP muffler on a 3rd gen Tacoma Cat Back system. The MBRP was too loud and humming too much, in my opinion this muffler dampened the sound but still made some noise. If anyone makes the same derailleur, I had to cut about 3" more off the front tube before I could attach it.

Just received a New Year's Eve package. Went to the Ace muffler store in National City. San Diego cooks it. Great job guys, same day install. They said it would take 30 to 45 days of normal driving to pack the core to put it in and get the resin. 0.22 inch, in my Chevy cab, using a Bluetooth stereo hands-free kit is still sufficient. I bought this to replace a competitor muffler on my 2002 Chevy Suburban. This muffler was not originally noisy but became very noisy after adding long heads with no cats. I installed this Magnaflow silencer instead of another and the difference is day and night. Pleasant low rumble at idle and a good sound when accelerating. I installed this muffler on a '95 F-250 with a 460 big block in combination with a QTP electric switch. The goal was to get a normal sounding but slack exhaust with the option of a straight tailpipe. The damper does its job very well. The truck is just as quiet as it was with the stock throttle muffler and the (very) restrictive 24" catalytic converter, but the straight-through design offers very good flow characteristics that didn't affect my performance at all.
