I'm surprised at the negative reviews. Once I've properly set this player up for the 37" 1080p LCD TV it's connected to (via HDMI), the picture is great and the player works flawlessly. There is a learning curve with this product. As with all DVD players, you should adjust the settings to your liking. The price of this player and the quality I get from it is amazing.
