As another reviewer said, 13mm magnets aren't strong enough to sew on - they were made with an extra layer of fabric (super thin in my case) don't work well. Also, I wouldn't use them again in clothes/items that wash out. I had to remove one within a year due to rust. Luckily I didn't cover it with a cloth and could see the rust.

What I really wish was that mounting options were included with these amazing magnets. They are amazingly strong and seem to work great for my client's project. I wasn't sure if the magnets were supposed to come out of the plastic and attach some other way, but I managed to sew the plastic in place. Maybe the magnet should have come out of the plastic and covered with some material. I just wasn't sure.

I never write reviews but I was so happy with these magnets! They're $4.99 a pair at JoAnn, which is absolutely ridiculous. The magnets are in a ready-to-sew plastic case. They are quite durable and are easily attached to each other thanks to two layers of medium density fabric. They don't look good in a really light fabric unless you have extra stabilization as they carry some weight. Also, they arrived about two weeks after ordering. Worked great. 10/10 recommend.
