Problems with the phone holder hinge.

Phone holder hinge was defective upon delivery. The 3m that comes with the kit has enough adhesive to stick well to the car dashboard. The magnet is strong and my phone won't fall, but I can't use it because I can't tighten the phone holder.

It works as advertised.

This item fits in the center console next to the shifter on my 2020 Mazda CX-5 Touring. It stays in place and keeps my Galaxy S8 plus out of sight. I used another phone holder from a different manufacturer with the same locking mechanism to allow the phone to rotate slightly towards the driver for safer driving.

DO NOT BUY - Stand

The fatal flaw with this phone mount is that the base and bracket cannot be 'locked'. The lever can rotate even if you fully tighten the nut. I bought 2 of these for my cars and they both work. I wish I had read other reviews on this product that indicated this was a product defect because then I would be wiser not to buy them.

Will not stay installed

I received this device last night and used it once with the Note 9 installed. If necessary, prepare the site with the cleaning supplies provided, and then install the device. After 5 minutes of use, it fell from its place on the car's dashboard. When trying to reinstall it, it did the same without a phone connected to it. PS: The base material on the underside doesn't allow for decent tape to semi-permanently hold the device to the car's dashboard.

Adhesive does not stick

First of all, the packaging of this product is different from the packaging with the product itself (on the packaging there is a picture of a car holder with a suction cup). Second, there are no instructions for proper installation in the kit (fortunately I've used other types of adhesive mounts before so I know how to do it). Third and most importantly the glue didn't stick very well, after sticking it to my car I left it untouched for more than 24 hours. When I put my phone down it stuck…

Sticker doesn't stick

I bought a few of these and prefer the ones that stick to the dashboard so I don't have to worry about them falling off like suction cups, but I was very disappointed in the adhesive material that comes with this product as it will not stick to my dashboard. It was cleaned with alcohol as always and allowed to dry for 3-4 hours before applying the adhesive and the next day after the first use the sticker came off, it stuck to the phone mount but not the dashboard. We've had others that stuck to
