Anders: Camping

The black Gen M2 dust cover is perfect for the Gen M2 magazine. The desert colored Gen M3 dust cap is perfect for the Gen M3 magazine. different but not perfect. There is one small difference.

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Operating speed

Original Magpul.: Outside

If you know anything about guns, Magpul is very good and this Magpul is much cheaper because Revain buys them in such large quantities and shipping can sell them much cheaper than Magpul. . They fit perfectly.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Functionality

Should be the standard in safety and survival

They work well with my Magpul Gen2 magazines. Once I figured out how to install them, they just snapped firmly into place. It looks like they should be stock but I don't think that would support the aftermarket very well.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Specifically for GEN2

MAGPUL "M" versions are significantly different. They are designed to fit correctly on *M2* magazines. They do NOT fit properly with other manufacturers' magazines. or M3. For non-MAGPUL, use "regular" cases (not shockproof) like TAPCO. They're *tight* - be ready to *persistently* take them off.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • I will add later

Gen2 dust covers are best for camping and hiking

They fit perfectly, my Gen3s came with them but my Gen2s didn't. They fit perfectly, also they are PMag Gen2 specific so make sure you order the right magazines for your stores. The 6 pack was good because I have addons if I end up buying more Gen2.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

The description should state what generation they are working with

I bought these for the 3rd generation. I read all the questions and they never said what they were for. I have PMags Gen 3. They don't match any of them. The back of the box says PMAG AR/M4 Gen M2 MOE/EMAG. Have to return as I don't have Gen 2 stores. I love Magpul stuff. Magpul=greatSeller=better description please

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Mystery

bad party? - Safety and Survival

I've used them in both 2nd and 3rd gen Magpul stores in the past. Unfortunately, this game snaps in too tightly. It is enough to bend the "legs" of the cover. Proven packaging, it's the right sleeve for the 2nd generation magazines they stick to. Losing weight is like opening a beer bottle. You almost need a bottle opener or a countertop to remove it. The seller cannot be blamed for this.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Safety

Works with GenM2 Magpul Stores

Glad I found these great "packs" of cases at a reasonable price. This WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY WITH GEN M3 MAGPUL STORES. They seem to work with some of the older Gen1 stores I have. If you're the type who has had multiple magazines loaded for long periods of time. Covers should not be removed. Pressure from a loaded magazine can cause the edges of the magazine to deform and sometimes break.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • There are Cons

Store Lids - Safety and Survival

I love these for storage. Like the detachable lens cap, this is another thing to think about before installing that next mag, but I'm not into combat. They protect the magazines from debris, and several online reviews note that they depress the top round slightly, which is said to help the magazine edges pop out during storage/non-use, thus wearing out the magazine. However, be careful. A: The new dust covers will not work with non-Magpul magazines and may not fit M2 or earlier. Some caps work…

Pros
  • Best in Their Niche
Cons
