Excellent Rocker Cover Gasket Kit for 2004 Mini Cooper R50. Works great but make sure you put the spark plug tube gaskets in correctly as they are tight and will be destroyed if the old ones are removed.

2 stars because it was a complete set. Only 2 stars because this is a rebranded set of Victor Reinz shims made in India. I'm not saying it won't work, just consider it false advertising. Returned.

Product description correct photo is correct and derived only from the content. Just as bad as buying parts on eBay. We didn't have time to come back and hit Oder, the game had to be correct. Just like my client wanted a car there. Just stick with your local parts store. You can make a buck or two, but you end up with a whole part and a working machine.

Great gasket set. I cleaned the valve cover well before installing it and rubbed the head with tape to ensure a good seal. It is recommended to cover them with a thin layer of engine oil before installation. And with the large socket, you can easily insert the spark plug seals. Seems to fit and work just as well as the OEM. Hopefully I don't have to say anything about durability as it should last another 100,000 km.

I wish this kit included all the valve cover bolts but it's better than nothing. When installing spark plug gaskets, use a large socket that covers the entire rim of the gasket (turn head flat) and use a 6" or larger C-clamp to evenly press each gasket. Installation I also tapped the edges of each gasket in the high areas with a small rubber mallet to get them flush.
