Great price and fast delivery!

I like them because they are big holes that horses can easily eat hay out of. I like the 42" size because you can fit a lot more hay in it. They seem to hold up well and are reasonably priced.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Hard to say

Great bag with minor modifications

Great bag but the rope holding/closing/hanging the hay sack doesn't stay tied and falls out. I replaced it with a better rope. The bag itself is of good quality, especially for the price. This is a slow feed pouch but definitely not a super slow feed like other pouches.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Some flaws

Robust and valuable.

These hay nets are much stronger than those I have used in the past and have more capacity. My Clydesdale doesn't skimp and so far it has satisfied her appetite very well. A little difficult to stretch for the first few uses, but not bad. I think this helps to keep the shape longer. If I need a replacement I will look for them again. The product arrived on time and as expected.

Not good quality. About Feeding and Watering Devices

They appear to be made of inferior material. Unlike my other nylon hay nets, the holes have stretched significantly in about a week so really aren't slow eaters. Big holes mean a lot of waste! While nylon has never been the most flexible material, the rope on it is so stiff and inflexible that it's difficult to work with, which is really annoying when your fingers get cold. I have already replaced them and will only use them in an emergency. Well it costs me a few bucks more to get a better…

Ideal slow feed option

I needed a slow feed option for two of my horses as one of them is prone to gas colic. I was impressed that I got two for the money and they arrived quickly and have worked great so far. I know some people have commented on having a hard time picking the hay, but I haven't had that problem. I just open the lid all the way and fold it in half. Put some hay flakes in it, roll it up and tie the ropes. It was very easy to use, durable, and delivered hay longer throughout the day, slowing down…

Good stable hay bags.

So far I like these nets. They are definitely more durable than the small Tough-1 Feeder Networks. Thicker rope and binding rope are much larger. It was difficult at first to keep the sacks open enough to easily move hay in, but I'm sure they will loosen up more over time. The only thing I don't like is the rope used for the tie. I like its diameter and the fact that it is different in color from the bag, but I think it will end up crumbling and breaking in the sun. It also slips through the…
