I would exchange it if my child didn't have a deadline

Doesn't blend well, doesn't stretch well, doesn't even stick to itself, doesn't work. I have used many types of clay and this is by far the worst. Perhaps it would help if you treated it like a stone (carve it instead of trying to "sculpt" it). I would definitely not recommend this.

Pros
  • Arts, crafts and sewing
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Suitable for both art and children's projects.

The bag of Makins Air Dry Clay I received contained fresh material that was well protected from exposure to air. The clay has a soft, slightly stretchy feel right out of the box and requires little to no conditioning. Kneading is really only needed to mix the colors and requires much less manual force than traditional heat-set polymer clays. Has no unpleasant smell. Mackins sticks well to itself when kneading and shaping, but does not stick to hands and tools. Although it is quite elastic, itโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Pottery and Pottery
Cons
  • Out of fashion
