Actually pretty cute.

Very good basic set. A good set for those who just have simple needs. The nice thing is that the screwdrivers are a bit flat and have a magnet. If the screwdriver bit is deep and/or lacks a magnet, it will not hold certain fasteners (e.g. self-tapping screws). You'll need some kind of screwdriver (or drill) as this doesn't include a handle. But you can buy a basic screwdriver and use bits with it. So for a very basic tool kit, this is the driver handle. Drill if you want to make holes etc…

Pros
  • Power tool parts and accessories
Cons
  • Not all will fit

Good percussion set with decent case

Received my 70 bit set and used it straight away for a few simple jobs. So far, so good. I really like this case, the individual bit guides flip out and lock in place for easy access and security, the bits pop out of their individual sockets easily but are not loose enough to fall out. The case feels well built and the latch feels secure, but time will tell if I wish it had a metal latch instead of a plastic latch. I use these bits with my Bosch PS41 and PS21 drivers. At first glance, these…

Quality mostly poor

So I bought this a month ago hoping that the Makita name and the number of pieces in this set would justify the investment. Unfortunately this was not the case. I used this kit to install a new fence around a property and encountered quality issues with some parts. More specifically, torque and cross tip. The cross cut off at one point, and the end caps wore out faster than I would have liked. I only use a standard cordless drill. The bit selection is great for a lot of simple jobs. Although…

The set looks very nice when you receive it

The set looks very nice when you receive it, but once you start using it you will find problems . your hands. I started using it to restore my bathroom mirror and ended up with black stains on my walls. Unfortunately, it's easy to do by hand. Painted walls are not that popular. Second, all long screwdrivers are Phillips. 0 long flat screwdriver bits. Finally, bits cannot be removed from body parts. I had to pry open the plastic cover of the sub section below to get one of the bits out. Although

Very Disappointed in Electric Drill Parts and Accessories

I have wanted to buy one of these for many years but never found it as necessary as I wanted but my craving eventually got the better of me. The main reason I wanted this was because of the quick change drill bits for screw head bits. Well, the magnet barely keeps it in the receiver (the part that stays in the drill). It's very wobbly and when you rotate the drill after drilling through wood or whatever the magnet isn't strong enough to hold the drill. drill so you have to hold it at an angle…

. A few extra beats and Makita, they should be good right? Wrong

Bought for fun thought why not have some extra tips because they are from Makita they should be good right? Not correct! they are garbage. Don't buy them. I drilled out some aluminum rivets in the patio door. Bits 1/8 and 5/32 broke with little effort. The "bonus" Phillips hex bits are so short that they take up a lot of space. This is terrible for Makita. I use their drill and screwdriver all the time, and I really like them, so I'm at a loss as to how they can eliminate this waste of space…
