This would be the MOST radio you need to have when the power goes out. The high-capacity 18650 battery can be charged by solar or USB, and can also be powered by 3 AAA batteries, which can be found everywhere, in a pinch. Crank Power for Emergencies

The radio is easy to use, very convenient to use. The sound is quite good for a device of this size. The light is VERY bright. I like that it's small and doesn't take up much space. I bought it to have in an emergency. When I first tried it I couldn't pick up the NOAA weather station, but after walking around my apartment I found that I just couldn't get a signal from where I was seated. Slightly Safer: Weather Radios

Our local meteorologist advised everyone to get one and I finally found the time to do so. It has multiple ways to charge, including a manual crank, and I just leave it at home by the window and it stays charged there. I live in Florida and with a tropical storm/hurricane forecast I wanted something multifunctional in case of a power outage. I ordered it and received it the next day with my main shipping.
