Best Rock Ever!

I admit I didn't want to spend the money, but it's worth it! I accidentally bought a fake "malco mode" and was very disappointed and returned it immediately. After realizing the mistake I saved the money for the real deal. I'm so happy I did! This not only gives my dress the desired fullness, but also softness! The most comfortable skirt I've ever had! If there was a way to give more stars, I would! The only problem is that now I want one in EACH color. better start saving.

Pros
  • Solid design
Cons
  • There are problems

Nice/well cut - forever/lots of fluffiness - NO itch

conform to the size chart and fit perfectly. However, the itching did not return as there was a small tear. For many years I danced the quadrille and wore skirts like this. there were 5/6 different colors / they last forever. I would still have all my petticoats but my husband died / I left VA and gave away all their pretty dresses and petticoats. This petticoat is made just like the ones I wore. Very well done. This petticoat also lasts LONGGGGGGGGG. But beware, this gorgeous petticoat will…

Malco Luxury Vintage and Malco Suit Petticoat

I bought this skirt and Malco Mode's knee length Suit Petticoat for an Alice in Wonderland costume I was making. This petticoat is much more luxurious than the last one. It's very full at the bottom, well built and just plain fun! I couldn't help but twist in it because it just flows with you :-) Most importantly, it feels comfortable while the cheaper suit skirt was very scratchy and stiff. It also had very few layers and the design was definitely not that of a luxurious petticoat. The…

Very fun thoughtful design

I bought this after a little research as I didn't want anything to be itchy but I wanted the petticoat to be really full. I agree with other reviews that the elastic says it will stretch to a certain size, and it does, but it's ridiculously tight and a bit uncomfortable, but not unbearable. However, the design of the belt is really good. It has three elastic channels to make it shorter if needed (but the length is perfect for me) and the elastic has a button to keep it closed. With this design,

So in love! for women

I just fell in love with this petticoat! I did a lot of research and I'm really glad I ended up with this one. The material is so fluffy and soft and the waistband is stretchy and doesn't cut in at all. I'm 5ft 7in, wear a size 14-16 US and could get away with a big, although XL is just perfect and very comfortable. Get ready to twirl if there are little kids in your life, my 2.5 year old niece was so in love that she made me flip several times to see her move! I ordered light pink and the…

High quality, perfect fit, beautiful color

I wanted a special turquoise/turquoise petticoat that would go well with a loose 50's dress. The Peacock Blue crinoline is absolutely perfect! Such a beautiful, rich color. It also matches my dress perfectly - not too long and not too short. I'm 5'1" so length is always an issue. I get a bit confused when trying to find the right size. I seem to be able to fit in the XS to L size range. I guess it's because of the stretch material at the waist but I chose M which is my normal size just in…

Pretty and thick

I have both this petticoat (Jennifer) and the slimmer version (Zooey), both from Malco Modes. This is what you need if you want a lot of fluff! The hem features organza ruffles rather than lace, which helps push the petticoat forward, creating almost double the volume. This makes for a nice spin! Two words of warning. If you don't want the down to be snug on your legs, you may need to wear a different petticoat as the volume goes in and out both ways. Zooey creates a straighter line but doesn't

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities

  • Hard to say

Fluffy and awesome - wait for your twirl!

I don't even know if I have the words to express my love for this skirt. It's the PERFECT amount of fullness for a pinup/rockabilly and lolita look, which I've worn both with. The craftsmanship is wonderful; Malco Modes does not disappoint with product quality! The lavender color is gorgeous and the petticoat is incredibly soft and fluffy. This is definitely not a cheap, stiff or scratchy petticoat - it's quality! I especially love this style for the soft layers that look like cascading layers…

Beautiful!.but very voluminous!

I love Malco Modes. They make the softest and most beautiful petticoats in the world. They are built like a tank and will last YAAAAAA with a little TLC. This petticoat is no exception! It's good!. THEN WHAT. I can't believe I'm saying this but he's too fluffy for me. I know, I know. The whole reason for a petticoat is below. This one does it very well. Only suitable for a fluffy skirt. I have a lot of vintage dresses, baggy skirts and vintage reproductions that could be worn with a little…
