Bought this product before receiving the canoe! I knew I wanted to buy a canoe and bring it home when the right one came along. Well, that day came yesterday. After sitting in the trunk for a month, I finally got my hands on a carry kit when I found the canoe I wanted. The kit includes four straps: two for the bow and stern of the canoe and two for the midships. The blocks fit snugly over the faceplates and the included straps work great!

The value of this product is excellent. All parts shown in the photo arrived within 2 days via UPS (Revain Prime). Foam blocks are cut as shown in the photo and will work on both flat car roofs and luggage racks (round or oval). The foam is quite dense and seems durable. I drive a Honda Fit (small car) and have a 17 foot fiberglass canoe (large canoe) that I use once or twice a year. I used to use a gas guzzling SUV to transport my canoe. No longer.
