I bought this for my husband because he loves crushed ice. This little machine does exactly what it says on the tin and is very easy to use. Bonus: It's inexpensive! I don't know how long this little thing will last but since the price was so low I will have no problem buying a replacement if needed.

This was easy to fix with a screwdriver, but it's worth messing around with. The rest of the machine works perfectly. Spins easily and cuts ice fairly finely. The snow cone isn't small, but we're happy with the results.

Dislikes: Shaving is not easy, actually you get ice chips and ice chunks more than ice chips. Well that thing would be really cool. It's easy to use and quick. Ice cube trays make your ice taste like silicon but I have to buy new ice cube trays for that. Apart from those two things I love Edit it: Every time I use this the ice tastes like plastic. I bought new ice trays thinking it was because of that. And it still has a horrible plastic taste. Not happy.

When I first got this I thought it was great. It was easy to use, easy to clean, and made great ice chips. I've used it about 15 times now. When I used it a few days ago, I noticed tiny bluish-green spots in my glass. I couldn't tell what it was because they were so small. Today when I used it I noticed small dots again.
