Satisfied with the material of this cord. Disappointment came when, after unwinding a few feet, I encountered some sort of battered cable that was no longer usable. Somehow they wound that bad line onto a spool under clean good line. I had to throw most of it away. Lost some value and money there.

The rope was exactly what I needed it for but I found it VERY expensive for the quantity. I've never bought macrame cotton before but I know macrame is usually full of holes so I must have thought it would be a good length for this purpose but not for what I was doing. I give it 5 stars because the cable is good quality, arrived quickly and was in good condition when it arrived.

Ideal as a drawstring replacement for jogging pants, shorts, pajama bottoms, sweatshirts or anything that uses drawstrings. This cord is 4mm wide. It's the perfect width, thickness and texture. The cord-to-cord friction keeps the bow/knot securely in place after tying. The cord is strong and does not stretch, so the pants do not gradually tighten. Still, the cord is soft enough for comfort and easy tying.
