Description of 🌈 Color Burst Rattle and Teether Grasping Activity Toy by Manhattan Toy Skwish

MULTI-SENSORY CLUTCHING BABY TOY: Classic, multi-sensory clutching rattle encourages grasping and reaching which are important for gross motor skills; the lightweight wooden dowels, smooth finish, and elastic ties make it easy for little hands to grab. BABY WOODEN RATTLE: The Skwish is surprisingly lightweight, allowing little ones the ease of sliding the beads back and forth on dowels, producing a very pleasing rattle sound and allowing baby to explore sound and learn cause and effect. DEVELOPMENTAL TEETHER TOY: The highly-regarded design of wood construction and elastic ties allow the unique rattle and teether to flatten, or "squish", and always return to its original shape. HEIRLOOM QUALITY WOODEN TACTILE TOY: The Skwish Classic Rattle and Teether safe for baby teething due to the baby-safe water-based acrylics that remain hardened, it has bountiful tactile qualities of smooth, yet perceptible wood grain texture. STANDING BY OUR BRAND: If you're reading this, you've found a safe toy from a real company and a brand that cares. Since 1978, Manhattan Toy has been a trusted source of imaginative toys for babies, toddlers and kids of all ages.

Baby loves rattles and plush rings

I have almost as much fun playing with this as our son. He mainly uses it as a teether and is constantly trying to destroy it and it still keeps its shape. It's solidly made and maybe the only toy our little monster can't break. Hats off.

Funny toy - check back often

Very well put together. So it was convenient for me to let my kid play with it. However, I checked it every day to make sure the balls on the end and the rubber band hadn't loosened or come loose. I pulled hard on each part and in the few months he's played with it, it has never come loose.

Pros
  • Keeping my Fists
Cons
  • So-so

My baby's favorite toy

My baby has been playing with this toy for 4 months. Now he is 7 months old and still having fun with this toy. I like that it's easy to clean. However, I need to make sure I or someone else is around when he's playing with him as I'm being paranoid he will accidentally poke them in the eye as he still doesn't have good hand control. It never was, but something to keep in mind.

Pros
  • There's something in it
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Great toy but the paint is peeling

First of all I have to say that the design of the toy is fantastic and it was without a doubt my son's favorite toy! Paint residue on the fabric! I checked the toy and was surprised again to find that the paint on the toy had worn off! I rubbed all the details again and found that the blue color rubs off the easiest, followed by the orange color. I know it's non-toxic, water-based paint, but does that mean the paint is edible and won't cause any side effects in these little kids? (My son…

Probably my child's favorite toy. We just don't know what to call it.

My little sister had one as a kid and I always thought they were cool, so I was pleasantly surprised to see they're still available (and in beautiful colours!). not only my odd attraction to toys that look like "math and science", my kid loves it. one of the first things she reaches for. She likes to shake it, chew on the ends, pull on the elastic, stretch and squeeze. Lately she tries to grab it with her toes. You know what? It can because it is so easy to grab and hold. What I love about this

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • Some flaws
