Best thing I've found for a 2004 Honda

Well 1 star easy to put is Honda's fault. Not the filter's fault. Honda goes through a literal NIGHTMARE on 2005 and earlier to replace this internal filter. Take a day and open a beer. But this filter is very high quality and the ice actually extends my trading time from 3 to 5 months.

Is it important!

This filter works perfectly. I could really tell the difference in cabin air quality. Now if we could only get Honda to replace these things a little more easily. It took me several hours to "test my religion" before finally installing it on my Honda Pilot. I give Potauto a 5 and Honda a 5.

Perfect fit/replacement filter

Perfect fit/replacement filter. It has foam on the outside to ensure a tight seal and the filter material feels solid. It also got rid of the slight musty smell but that may be partly due to the car having a 200k+ filter (see photos). My air system is blowing much harder now and I would definitely recommend this brand of filter. I'll buy again when the time comes.

Perfect Fit 2006 Honda Pilot Excellent Charcoal Filter Effectively removes odors

Effectively removes exhaust fumes and smelly odours. The filter is a perfect match for the 2006 Honda Pilot, a well designed aftermarket filter. Love the replacement reminder sticker that comes with the kit. It's been two years since the last change and there was a lot of dirt clogging the filter. Changed design from last year

This seems to be another case of companies reducing product quality to make a profit. Last year the plastic mold was strong and had a thick layer of activated carbon filters woven into it. Even a year later I could smell clean air coming out of the filter. This year's model consists of just a mold around the perimeter (the thinner paper filter can crack if it gets too wet, dirty, etc.) and charcoal granules instead of a sheet. This method doesn't work very well because the granules cover a much

The filter is great, but the installation is.

Received the cabin air filter today and installed it on a 2004 Honda Odyssey van today. Taking the van to the dealer to have this filter installed would have cost me at least $1,500 due to the complexity of removing and installing. But I did it myself, and it was on the ground to get to the old filter and shut off the air system behind the glove box.
