This sharpener is a bit awkward to use. You need to hold the sliding cover and rotate the pin at the same time, otherwise the sliding door will place the pin at an angle and create an uneven tip. It is sometimes difficult for children to operate. After searching several stores empty handed for double hole pencil sharpeners, I decided to look here. This one got some great reviews so I was really excited at the $7 price tag. We really needed a 2 hole sharpener for my kids big crayons. After a few weeks of use: I absolutely hate this sharpener! She keeps breaking the lead.
