I feel good on my feet, however.

Overall these boots fit well but the stitching is a bit dirty. I expected better optics. I plan to use them at the beach in a few months. Let's see how they hold up. They feel better on my feet than other boots. I have plantar fasciitis and need supportive shoes, hope they help.

Pros
  • Easy to assemble
Cons
  • Expensive

Great boots! good for dive fins

Mares materials are usually of very good quality and this boot is no exception. They have a very durable sole, more like a real boot than a bootie. I was concerned the zippers would open because they don't have a stopper (velcro) to prevent this. That didn't happen. You get up with no problem. I have about 30 dives with them and they are still like new.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No performance

Sturdy and comfortable

I've only used these boots on one dive, but the dramatic difference from regular scuba diving ballet shoes was remarkable. The ribs have been improved and the feel of the boot on the undersized boat ladder is great. Grip on the wet deck was solid and on a very hot day it was comfy in the trunk! My only complaint and reason for four stars is that there is no velcro on the zipper.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • A dubious purchase for seniors

Honeymoon is over

I bought them a little over a month ago, used 5-6 times. I liked it the first few times I wore it. They were comfortable and pretty decent compared to all dive boots. I had problems with the zips recently and today they froze up - it took pliers to unzip. I also have a pair of SEAC boots that are over 3 years old and work great. I return to them!

Pros
  • Doping 🔥
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

I'm glad they still make them

I've had the exact same diving boots for many years and use them often. They started getting tired. I mainly wear them for diving but they are great for any aquatic activity where I want to protect my feet and ankles while maintaining a good grip. I ordered a new pair and they are exactly the same as my old ones, same great construction, materials, everything! I'm so happy and ready for another decade.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Weight

Great boot, loads of support, size down.

These are fantastic boots. I have plantar facetis and always thought I would only have to deal with it when diving. As soon as I tried them on, I knew I wouldn't wear them again. They have great support both on land and in the water. It's actually like wearing sneakers. I also had no problem putting on the standard size fins. One note: I usually wear a size 11, but I've found that a size 10 is perfect for me. You may want to order one size smaller.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home

The BEST hiking water protection for that dog walk!

Love these boots. But not for diving. I am a dog walker and was looking for a good waterproof shoe that would keep water out completely and something that I could still support for my hiking feet. I have destroyed many hiking boots and water boots while walking my dogs through many streams, these diving boots with sneakers have been hanging there for months with no cracks or stains. I also like how easy and quick they are to put on and take off.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • I will add later

Big problem with zippers

I have two problems with these boots. 1) I see that the outsole material wears out after only 4 uses. 2) When a grain of sand or two gets caught in lightning, they intervene. The clasp itself and the zipper are plastic, so there is a limit to how much force you can use. Using only my hands and maximum strength, I was unable to move the zippers. It took me over 30 minutes to soak the boots in a jar of water, use a small pickaxe to remove the sand and adjust the mechanism before I was finally…

Pros
  • Niche best
Cons
  • Empty
