Wrong color I ordered

Very used box of celadon I ordered. However, the bulb is actually an odd red and white. In fact, it seems that I enlighten the male sex organ. Not the lighting I was looking for.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Annoying

Much dimmer than expected

I don't know if anything will be as effective as expected with this light. I haven't noticed anything with more fluorescent items in my tank. It's also too dark. As a result, I returned to the usual lamps for the general aquarium.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Secret

not what you expect.

This lamp emits a very, very, very faint bluish violet light. Surprisingly weak. The lightbulb is blue. This worked for my 10 gallon because I want it to be dark on one side of the tank and on the other side I put an expensive fluorescent light that doesn't use a lot of heat.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Very expensive

No black light for aquarium lighting

This article appears when searching for black light or UV light. With a purple lightbulb, it looks like it should be a black light. It is not. Even if I were to use it for a different purpose - the light is so dim you can hardly tell it's on. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone looking for a lightbulb as it puts out almost no light.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Some disadvantages

Not a light but a good source of heat

No it's not a light like I've read in other reviews but it's an excellent source of heat. I use this light for my hermit crabs for warming. This helps keep the aquarium at a good temperature. My hermits are the pets in my preschool class. I was gifted a tank with a hood so instead of buying a whole heat lamp I use this bulb and a low heat tank heater and it keeps my hermit tank between 73 and 77.

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • Some issues

Light only when there is no light in the room

Although I would like to say that I am enthusiastic about this lamp, I cannot. I left it for a few hours hoping it might get better. It is not so. There is no way of knowing that there is a 'working' lightbulb in the tank unless it is the middle of the night, all the lights are off and the blinds are closed. Even then it is weak and does little in the light. I can't say it's worth the money because it doesn't do anything. Can't recommend as this photo is straight out of the box.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Almost everything there
