Good light, easy to program

This light is just what I needed. I needed a fairly inexpensive flashlight with lots of features and this is it! The Fluval app is easy to use and program, and the light is very bright. No, I don't have a PAR meter, but at 60% my zoanthids are fine.

Pros
  • Full spectrum marine and reef LED lighting with the necessary actinic blue spectrum to encourage and support vigorous coral growth and coloration
Cons
  • Nothing here

Best set and forget at Fish & Aquatic Pets

I really like these lights. I have a 125 liter aquarium with only saltwater fish. Since the upper part is divided into three sections, I had to use three light sources. Once I set them up they worked great. They're set up and all three are working, simultaneously changing the light to my settings. I wish they had storm settings.

Pros
  • Retractable mounting brackets make it easy to mount to different width aquariums
Cons
  • Clarity

Excellent light with some drawbacks

The light is an excellent spectrum light for a small aquarium, reef tank however this light burns very intensely and heats up to 20 gallon Tank. a few degrees a day. If you put your hand on a burning lamp, you can only hold it for a few seconds, which feels very hot for the texture of the LED lighting. Second, while the Bluetooth app is great, it would be a lot better if it had Wi-Fi enabled in it.

Pros
  • Balanced combination of multiple LEDs for optimal photosynthetic activity, coral growth and visibility
Cons
  • Update available

Dim light, no watery sheen

Light sucks. There's no flickering at all, just a very dim LED that's very mediocre. My iPhone 11pro light flickers better than this light. The app is really terrible and not easy to use at all. I should have gone to Lowe and just bought some good 25K LEDs, that would have been a lot cheaper and a lot better. I'm so disappointed in this light, it's unreal. Kessil makes 15W of light and that's a lot more.

Pros
  • 120 degree light diffusion for full area coverage and even illumination
Cons
  • Negative available
