Rode a jeep for 63 years, used a hole saw, made sure it didn't get hot and vacuumed up the shavings. Put this in place, 5 screws and Baam works like a coin!

The sensor we received does not change resistance during its stroke, it has 5 different resistance values depending on the position of the float, it does not change between them.

I installed this unit in my 12 gallon portable outboard gas tank. Following the instructions, installation was easy. Now I can cruise around the bay and monitor fuel consumption right on the dashboard!

I don't like how the fuel level is displayed. It shows Full - 3/4 - 1/2 - 1/4. - E. Nothing between the points. So it stays at 1/4 until the tank is empty.

The block is not a true resistive sensor but has 8 or 9 points that output the resistance to the sensor. So, at best, the sensor suddenly moves 1/8th of the tank position at a time. That's quite enough for my pro street car on the e85.

Plugged in, found the gauge worked backwards, changed cables, still works backwards, wouldn't buy again, what a disappointment, comes without instructions, no wiring diagram but i need to keep it in the tank. Since the old manometer was leaking, we have no other choice

It worked beautifully! I installed a gas sensor on our golf cart and the original worked for about 3 months. The first was in the float arm, which had to be measured and cut off to fit the tank. The first was junk! This was an EASY INSTALLATION. It fits in the hole I cut out for the first one. Even the screw holes matched. The tank, like the first time, contained no cables. Too bad I didn't see this transmission block first. This works great and was easy to install. I highly recommend it!
