Great looking jacket and great fit but not warm

This jacket looks great and fits very well. I just want it to be warmer. Too thin for anything at 45 degrees unless you layer.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Big and chunky

Best winter coat I own

Comfortable for work but very warm outside in very cold or windy conditions. This coat is amazingly warm because it's lightweight and comfortable to wear.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Only available in black

Super Light, Warm, Slightly Overweight Fit

Super Light, Warm, Slightly Overweight Fit. Generally well done. I'm between medium and large so I took a large. The bust is ok but definitely barrel shaped - big in the waist.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Contemporary

Marmot used to be good

I have been wearing marmot products for 20 years. Now the quality has deteriorated to a minimum. This jacket for the money is a disgrace to the company. Cheap materials, I may have to go back to the north face

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • The list goes on.

Great quality for men

This coat fits my husband perfectly. It gets hot very quickly so the fact that it's light was perfect, but it also kept it warm when it was cold. We live in Nebraska and he wore it to our soccer games in November and it was fine. I say it's a great purchase

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Price

You can't go wrong with Marmot

Good jacket for light winters. Great finish. Excellent fit. I'm 5ft 9in, 160lbs, broad shoulders. The jacket in the photo is medium in size. I think it fits perfectly. Convince yourself on the photos. However, it's made for people with big arms, it's too loose on the biceps, so I sent it back. Look at you.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not for everyone

This is a very thin jacket for mild weather

I was expecting a winter jacket like the one in the photo. What I got was an almost filler free jacket that was more like a fall jacket. This is also suitable for guys whose upper body is about the same size as the middle part. It looks cheap and is nowhere near worth the price. At 30 degrees it barely kept me warm and I felt cold through the seams. I would hardly call it a "down jacket".

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Not as thick as the other options

Warm, light, fantastically packaged!

Such a cool jacket! I bought this for a trip abroad and it turned out to be warm, light and so easy to pack! It's like a lightweight down jacket but without the stiff/heavy fabric that my down jacket has. I can wear a short sleeve shirt under this jacket when it's over 40 outside and stay warm! As the day got warmer, I folded the jacket in thirds (photo 1), rolled it up starting at the collar, and secured the folded jacket with the elastic waistband (photo 2) to fit in my backpack. Absolutely…

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Slightly torn
