I saw a quilt made with this product, the quilt was beautiful. I wanted this, but this product was not available. Search here and find it at a lower price than most online quilt stores. Already started cutting fabric for my quilt. Makes cutting very easy and precise.

I find this template to be a lot easier to build windmills than the "Twister" templates. With the Tessellation Windmill template, you can draw a design to see how many sheets of each color you need, cut out the pieces and lay them out in order, then sew them together. I'm less likely to get or order things this way.

A popular quilting technique these days is the twister, which uses a pattern of lines to cut out a windmill square from pre-sewn squares. It was quick, but then I realized that the Twister technique for cutting squares with staggered edges on all sides. produces windmill blocks with edges arranged along the grain, not at an angle.
