Good brush: Brushes

Overall it was a pretty good brush. Loss of shape after a few months of use. The bristles stick out at odd angles, making it difficult to draw. I was expecting a higher quality brush that would last much longer given its Bob Ross name.

The best brush in the world

The best brush in the world This is my 3rd one. I will be more. You can never have enough of these brushes. If you have several, save yourself the trouble of pausing and deleting them in between. It is durable and has many uses in oil painting. All Bob Ross brushes are of excellent quality and great value for money! hp Bob Ross "ARE" brushes are now made in Germany.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Functionality

Oh boy I used it then.

For 2 inch Ross brush. I am revising my rating. I've used it 5 times now. He sheds like an animal when I work! I can apply color without leaving long hair. What a mistake to buy cheap imported products. Also be careful. Its soft and long bristles splatter color throughout the room. It has a lever, and the slightest movement of the brush throws off flecks of paint.

Read everything before you buy!

The brush is probably a good brush, but I paint with acrylics. I read and read information about the brush. It wasn't until I received it that I saw that it was not intended for use with water or water-based products. I promise this was NOT included in the information I read before purchasing. He's also not as fat as in the BR video. I am very disappointed with my purchase.

Ideal brush for painting, coloring and art supplies

High quality brush with natural bristles as advertised. I didn't lose any color on the pen as many have complained, it feels like a sturdy well built brush. The nuts in the bristles will chip off but that's not a problem, once you add the color they stay in place. A brush will keep its shape as long as you care for it properly: unscented paint thinner, soap and water, and then a brush conditioner. Highly recommended!

FAKE FAKE FAKE BUT NOT IF YOUR EDIT IS THE REAL THING.

When I checked the page I made sure it says Made in the USA and the image shown is a legitimate brush. But THIS IS A FAKE, THIS IS MADE IN GERMANY. AND ITS PICTURE IS NOT IN THE BRUSH LINE SHOWN IN THE COMPARISON PICTURE. MY BRUSH WHAT YOU ADVERTISE. . I WILL CALL AMAZON TOMORROW. I AM REALLY DISAPPOINTED THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING. The brush is literally a regular brush, but with its name it's probably a $2 brush. .smdh

For example, painting an afro bob

Bought this brush along with a 1 inch landscape brush for use with oil paints and unscented thinner after getting tired of brushes falling out from cheap household stores. Even with the slightest moisture, the brush wore out completely. If I'm still too new and just don't know what these brushes are for, I'll change this review. An artist friend (who specializes in oil paints) laughed at this and was relieved he didn't pick them up when he wanted to try them. The bristles seem to be allergic to
