I had to ask someone to push the item into place so I could screw it to the bottom of the hard drive on the other side. looks like they made it too wide!

Might be a little difficult to put on your hard drive but it might be grey. I put mine on WD. Hard disk. If you have an Hp you will need to slightly modify the hard drive mounting holes on the drive cage to fit. After installing it in the hard drive cage and tightening the screws, I put it back into the case. and the holes were slightly offset so you have to put some hand pressure on the cage to tighten the bolts. It takes up most of the other drive bay, so the cage can now only hold one hard…

There may be some ultra-thin 3.5" hard drives, but this cooler is too thick to fit on a drive. Also, the slots are in the wrong place to connect to the drive. I am using a large workstation (HP Z440) with standard size 5.25" slots. There is no chance that it will work in a thin case. I'll leave it, maybe one day fans will come in handy. On the plus side, the reversible power connector eliminates the need for a bulky Y-splitter for power.

Hard disk temperature reduced by at least 7 degrees. With the Speedfan temperature app. Runs quietly unlike some cheaper coolers which are noisy.
