A great alternative to dunking bamboo skewers in water and they'll still break if you turn the skewers over. They cool down very quickly and you can eat them! Highly recommended.

I'm glad you get a lot for the money. My only criticism is that they're a bit short for those of us with big grills, but they work very well. Very easy to clean, easy to work with and flat enough to turn kebabs over. Very good value for money.

Great product! These are the best skewers I've ever used. I used wooden ones that need to be soaked. Also, foods on round skewers tend to turn over when touched. I like them because they are flat and the food stays where I put it. In addition, they are longer than wooden ones. I'm very glad I found her.

Big Sky Beef Kebabs are made with hamburger mix. While I could grill them with regular skewers, flat skewers work better. I had never heard of flat skewers until I found this recipe on Paul Sidoriak's website. I also like that the skewers are not too long. This made it easy to form kebabs onto skewers and cool them down beforehand.

I like that these skewers are flat because they don't hurt what I'm pulling on the grill, they twist/flip very easily. They are easy to clean - I just rinse them out and put them in the dishwasher. The only thing they could improve is the silicone pads on the hinges because more than once I forgot they were HOT METAL, grabbed the hinge and burned myself. But that's just user error I guess.

I specially ordered skewers because they need to be flat so they don't twist or dangle when you put meat on them. They were also shown with large, heavy loops that could be removed from the bars while wearing gloves.
