Lockout tagout lock is best used for electrical lockout applications as part of a comprehensive OSHA compliant safety program. Zenex thermoplastic safety lock body is durable, lightweight, and non-conductive; functions in temperatures from -70 to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Features a cylinder that is reserved for safety padlocks; key retaining feature ensures padlock is not left unlocked. 1-1/2 in. (38 mm) Wide lock body with 1/4 in. (6 mm) diameter shackle, 1-1/2 in. (38 mm) shackle length and 25/32 in. (20 mm) width. Includes one blue lockout tagout padlock, one key.

Secure and Dependable Padlock

As a hesitant buyer I was unsure of which padlock to choose for lockout/tagout purposes. but I am glad I chose this one. It is sturdy and reliable for securing tools and equipment. As a result of using this product, I found that it is easy to use and provides peace of mind knowing that everything is locked up .However, the price is a bit steep compared to other padlocks in the market..

I only bought it to replace the core with my Master Lock 930

Definitely not for actual implementation of OSHA safety regulations Disclaimer. If you want to replace the higher security core with a Master Lock 930DPF or similar model that has a weak and easily damaged 5-pin plug-in core, the 6-pin core is an easy replacement, with the only downside being that you have to essentially destroying injection molded plastic. But in return you get the most reliable and affordable padlock that Master Lock SHOULD make but isn't designed to do. For some reason…
