I would recommend it to a friend. High quality product.

I would highly recommend this product over collet nut flare kits. This machine uses hydraulic pressure to create lightning. Used it to overhaul the brake system on my '91 YJ. I originally used the clamp type with screw press results: all 14 bushings were leaking. Then I use this crimping press and they come out perfect. Just make sure you don't press down on the torch too hard or you might flatten it.

  • Good value for money

If you want to become a pro, buy this tool

Whether you are starting a business or just starting out as a technician, you must buy this tool, it will save you a lot of headaches! My only complaint with this tool is that the dies sometimes get stuck when you quickly connect the fuel lines. You can be a real mistake to remove them. I broke some screwdrivers, I mean crowbars, try to get these guys out. Make sure you spray some lube on the matrices before using them, it helps a lot!

WOW these tools make flaring easy and reliable

I bought this tool to make steel flares with pressurized fuel line fittings for use with nylon to steel Dorman quick disconnects. All three fuel tank lines are nylon (3/8", 5/16" and 1/4" nylon) and I had to convert the fuel lines to steel. I've also used it to make dual brake line expanders on steel lines, when I replaced all the brake lines. This made every flash perfect the first time.A bit pricey but paid for itself in one go when I replaced all the fuel and brake lines.

But cry once and play it safe

First time I have had to flare brake lines and this tool did the job perfectly, no leaks or problems. In fact, this is a fallacy! I did a lot of research and settled on this one and not the cheap kits because the brakes aren't cheap. This tool will probably be of little use to me, but I know my torches are made right and my cars are safe. Also, I don't have to worry about making a mess since my torches don't leak. I used this with 4LIFETIMELINES 3/16 Ni-Cop lines on Revain and they worked great

Stop worrying about those cheap tools

Wow. This thing changed my life in the short amount of time it took me - a tool for life! I ended up replacing the entire brake line on my 88" Yota and I couldn't make a decent flare with a $20 tool you can buy at auto parts stores. I kept breaking stamps and spending more and more money. In the end I gave up and bought the thing. Made a perfect flash in less than a minute. That is beautiful. I only had a small issue with it when it was under my truck due to the size - my fault for not making a

ALWAYS PERFECT FLAIR!

FALRES SAINLESS PERFECT! I tried a cheaper torch tool set, the handle was bent and the torches were crooked. You get what you pay for, lesson learned. Mastercool is expensive but worth it! Flaring with a hydraulic jack is effortless, place the head square in the clamp, prepare the end of the tube properly and you'll get a perfect flare every time. It can also be used under the car, which is important. The included pipe cutter is small and doesn't work well with stainless steel, I used a 4"…

Beware of tools that claim everything but this case!

I can't believe I ordered this tool a few years ago but I've only used it a few times because I knew as a classic car owner I would definitely use it one day. And I just did it. Today's project was to customize and install stainless steel brake line ends for my 1983 Maserati Quattroporte and if you know anything about them they use a combination of standard and metric fittings. So on the 3/16 inch line I had to install both standard double flare fittings and metric bubble fittings. Turn on…
