MASTERCOOL 89661 PRO Manifold Aluminum Standard Review

This is a really good set of AC meters. If, like me, you're stuck in no-go territory (aka California) for guys with cars, you need a puncher (green pliers) to top up the AC. Stupid California R134a adapters can suck and always leak.

Distributor is exactly what I expected; However, the supplied hoses will not work with the elbow without an adapter. I called Mastercool on the phone number listed on their website and told them about my problem. They said there was a bug with some kits but they sent me the correct fittings free of charge. Great product and even better customer service.

Received these gauges on Saturday and have been working with them for a few days now it's Wednesday and the gauges are working fine, the hoses and manifold are great but if you have the same coupler how i get then throw them away. Take away and get some higher quality clutches. I bought this unit based on reviews and it was made in the USA but when I first started using it the yellow hose would not let any refrigerant through. I struggled with this for a few hours then called Mastercool Support. I got them to replace the HF kit first which I used twice and then the high pressure coupler leaked like a sieve, the first Mastercool gauge I bought defective, the needle on the top gauge looked like a dog's hind leg so couldn't read accurately, I sent it back and Revain promptly sent me a replacement which I received on Sunday and I received today (Friday ) The set seems well built, I like that they fit well, just finger tight and not leaking, I hope the seals hold up and I can use this set…

I've wanted a set of automotive sensors for a long time. I was about to buy the Harbor Frieght set and call it good. I'm glad I decided to upgrade! Gauges, distributor rod and manual valving feel well made and reliable. It has "pegs" on the side to hang the blue and red hoses when not in use, but not the yellow one!
