Does what it's supposed to do

Works perfectly. You will find many more uses for this tool once you have it. As always, goggles are essential for something like this.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good price, good quality.

There used to be cheaper ones that burst or leaked after a few uses. This is a reliable tool, many or all techs I know have one of these. Why pay 2, 3 times the price for a Cornwell or a Mac even if they go for a rebranded sticker on the truck?

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • No instructions

Seems to match tools and equipment

Better if you can adjust it for continuous flushing rather than re-pressurizing the can every 10 seconds. It's good to flush at around 40psi of pressure to allow the solvent to do its job. Of course, the pressure drops immediately after the first shot. The lines are definitely fine, but next time I would buy a new evaporator and condenser as they are difficult to flush properly.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Unfashionable

Great for A/C flushing Good for A/C tools and equipment

A quality flushing gun attaches with a short hose to a canister that has a valve at the top to pressurize from an air compressor. The hose is simply connected to the container and the flushing gun. Top screws from canister for easy filling with A/C flush solvent (sold separately, you can find it at any auto parts store or on Amazon). A must when replacing a dead compressor to help remove any c^@# from the air conditioner. After flushing with flushing solvent, flush directly with shop air (or…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Good price for casual users. Not recommended for frequent users.

Works, but the air valve is annoying. The entire Schrader valve assembly is cheap and difficult to fill with air. I filled it halfway with solvent and had to keep pressurizing the air because the valve kept leaking. I will replace the Schrader valve when I use it again but for the time I need it; it succeeded. One of those things you get what you pay for. This is great for occasional users, but using it more frequently can be frustrating.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Good, but not great

Suitable for easy flushing

Suitable for easy flushing of automotive hoses and A/C pipes outside of the vehicle. It is not as good for flushing air conditioning components as the evaporator. The problem is that you are pressurizing the bottle through the Schrader valve at the top of the bottle. Then you get a short burst of solvent to flush the hose or component. A continuous flow of air (or nitrogen) is required to remove the wash solvent. This applies in particular to the component. Difficult to do with this kit unless…

Disappointed Best in Tools & Equipment

Purchased during air conditioning overhaul on F-250. I completely removed the condenser, evaporator and piping before flushing them. Then I didn't see the point in this product. This kit consists of a pressure tank, a screw cap with a Schrader valve (like a tire valve stem), a hose that screws into the bottom of the tank, and a blowgun with a rubber bushing on the end. To use it, attach the bottom hose first - there is no valve on this fitting so you cannot add liquid to the tank without the…
