Suitable for easy flushing of automotive hoses and A/C pipes outside of the vehicle. It is not as good for flushing air conditioning components as the evaporator. The problem is that you are pressurizing the bottle through the Schrader valve at the top of the bottle. Then you get a short burst of solvent to flush the hose or component. A continuous flow of air (or nitrogen) is required to remove the wash solvent. This applies in particular to the component. Difficult to do with this kit unless you have an assistant hold the air compressor hose on the bottle schrader valve while you hold the purge gun and pull the trigger. If you're flushing multiple components, you'd better get a kit that has a valve on the bottle inlet and a fitting that allows you to screw the air compressor outlet onto the bottle inlet so you don't have to hold it. Then, after flushing with solvent and the bottle is empty, you can do a continuous air flush for as long as you like. I used about 20 ounces of flushing solvent to clean a used evaporator and eight A/C hoses and tubes before installing them on the car. .
