Very good product, fits mattress pad

I really like this mattress pad. It adds the perfect amount of softness to a firm baby mattress. The top is made from a very soft terry material that helps keep the sheet in place. I highly recommend.

So far so good - baby bedding

So far so good. Although I couldn't test if it's really waterproof because our baby won't arrive until April, the case was soft and seemed strong enough when I opened the package! I washed it and nothing seems to have changed! I also ordered a foam mattress topper to put on top of our crib mattress and it fits both perfectly.

Definitely waterproof

I recently received this product and wanted to see if it would fit my 52x28x5 crib. It was a bit short as the side panel fully covers at least 3 inches at the other end of the mattress. All in all it was good enough to go now. I wonder if it will shrink after washing? I checked another feature of this mattress topper and it is definitely waterproof. NON-BREATHABLE - Baby Bedding

I bought this to use the breathable mattress for the Newton mini bed. The product description specifically states that it "breathes so you don't have to worry about your baby". I put it on the mattress and stuck my face into the mattress and I could NOT breathe through it. This is very disappointing and a misleading product description. Will return.

Barely fits our standard cot mattress

The mattress topper appears to be well made. The quilted top adds softness to firm crib mattresses without compromising safety and forms a lightweight barrier to protect the moisture barrier from baby sweat. I'm giving 4 stars because while this cover is advertised as a standard crib size, it barely fits my daughter's standard crib mattress as shown in the attached photos. Whether or not this remains reliable remains to be seen.

Short-lived

Plastic lining. After 6 months of use/washing I took it out of the dryer to see it. The plastic has melted and is no longer waterproof. My other complaint is that the pockets aren't very deep, making it difficult to pull them over the mattress (yes, I know baby bedding can't be loose). If you want a reasonable price this will work as long as you are willing to follow the washing and drying instructions. It ripped the first time I put it on the mattress. UPDATED

I am very disappointed with this product. The waterproof top appears to be of excellent quality, but it ripped at the seam on one side when I pulled it over the mattress. I haven't even washed it yet so I know I didn't do anything to ruin it. Now I'm afraid to wash it because I know it will be useless afterwards.
