I am not at all satisfied with the quality of this cotton swab. The spool is very missized, tangled and the fibers are so short that they have little power. The fibers are not combed, so there are small clumps everywhere. Inside the spool is a liner material (you can see it if you take the spool apart) that appears to be made of synthetic material. Although these large boxes are mainly sold to salons, they are also very useful for all kinds of crafts, artworks and workshops. The cotton is of very good quality with no signs of seed or debris. I suppose you could even twist this into a yard or thread if you had the right attitude. Here we use it for all types of fine cleaning and finishing.

I ordered this based on the photo alone thinking I'd get a roll of denim so I was surprised at first. It's more like cotton balls or cotton balls in a big roll. It arrived in a plain (big) box but there was no plastic wrapping for the cotton. This wasn't a problem with what I received, but I could see how it might be if the box hasn't been used for a long time or has suffered any kind of damage.
