Useless Automotive Power Converter

Using this product, our team found that it did not function properly and did not provide the necessary power to our devices. We experienced multiple issues and ultimately had to purchase a different product to complete our work.

Works in my Roomba - Power Converter

Using an ESP8266 to control an older Roomba. This works perfectly to power the Roomba and pull it down to run the microcontroller.

None of the boards I received were adjustable in a meaningful way

Both boards I received could not use the integrated potentiometer of the 7.4V power supply (2S Lipo ) which regulates only 20% of the output voltage in the very fine (5ΒΊ) range of the potentiometer and otherwise a constant output voltage (6 volts). This potentiometer is used as a variable resistor, not a divider, so through trial and error I tied a constant resistance from the output to the active leg of the potentiometer and lived with the voltage it gave me.
