You pay for what you get. Not at all satisfied Scrap

Finally used. Garbage. He rattles back and forth. With two pins you might think it would be tight. nope He leans so freely. And I'm out of the Revains returns window. i will call

2-ball adjustable hitch MaxxHaul

After reading the reviews I decided to buy this adjustable hitch. I was scared at first because it was way cheaper than all other well known brands of adjustable hitch here. Well, don't let the cheap price fool you. This is a premium Grade A hitch. Very heavy, the 2" main element that inserts into the receiver is solid steel. Not a tube like most. I am very happy with it and can only recommend it.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Some problems

Excellent value for money and quality! in ball joints

This is a great, strong hitch. As other reviewers have said, this is a solid square shaft (not a tube) and is very heavy. There is some play in the fit, but not so much that I would mess it up. Yes, you could pay more for a chiseled fit, but I just wanted a strong and reliable clutch, and that's exactly what I need. The only modification I made was to drill holes in two of the pins so a lock with a long shank could be threaded through them. I would recommend it to anyone looking for value forโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Low maintenance

Equalize, great price, easy fix = great hitch

This was the cheapest adjustable hitch I could find. The only problem was that there was a lot of dirt between the clutch mount and the balls. I solve this problem by using a 1/16 aluminum washer that slides between the ball and the hitch mount. I used aluminum because it's soft and doesn't cause any problems and because it's corrosion resistant. My buddy has a problem too and says it's a beast. Great price, easy upgrade.

  • Few competitors

  • Hard to say

Sounds like Kid Rock - Bawitdaba

This clutch is solid and looks good but the tolerances are terrible. Between the hitch clearance and the trailer's adjustable ball clearance, it sounds like a Kid Rock Bawitdaba song as you walk down the street. I've obviously used it before, and now the chrome ball is scratched like there's no tomorrow, so I won't be returning it; I'll just weld spacers to it to take up the play the assemblers didn't have. For the price, however, there's nothing in an adjustable multiball hitch that comesโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Repair

Wow! This coupling is a lot tighter than pictured or what I expected. The steel receiver is strong (literally), the side flanges where the pins go are 3/8", the pins are 5/8", and the welds are excellent. I'm an Alaskan from the bush. I know what it's like to be isolated from help or repairing equipment. I would take this towbar to any remote location and trust it would not let you down. Today the first test is to pull a tractor on a rough road. If I have any problems later I will post aโ€ฆ

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Some little things

This is a beast for money, though. . .

. . . a distinct gap at the attachment point of the stem to the female hitch and at the attachment point of the hitch ball assembly to the height adjustable channel. Lots of clanking and noise, but the thing is built like brick manure! Solid steel shaft. Thick steel U-profile. Durable, one-piece ball head. Significant welds. Three stars for now due to concerns about how the loose tolerances affect towing a larger RV. Maybe an increase (or decrease) in the rating later. Check for tailgateโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Almost never

Great hitch ball system! Goodbye to finding the right size ball.

I work on a school campus where we have several different 2" and 2 5/16" trailers. I'm tired of hitching up a trailer and finding out I have the wrong size ball. I'd have to scramble to resize and try to figure out where my other co-workers find the best storage space, often with much frustration and little luck. It was an easy decision. Both sizes are available and are easy to flip. It also solved the problem of the new Chevy Suburban having a much higher hitch point. Now we can transport ourโ€ฆ

Shaquille O'Neal Towbar

I bought this based on the reviews. Everyone gave this hold good reviews except for those who cried because it was loud because of a small game. Being a person of sane mind and capable of rational thinking, I knew these negative comments were only made by snowflakes who have never pulled anything in their life. Well, as a construction worker, I've towed my big skid steer loader, which weighs 7,000 pounds, on my trailer, which weighs about 2,500 pounds. This clutch is built to withstandโ€ฆ
