Great lock and nothing rattles!

This lock was very easy to install. Attachments need to be hollowed out to get the full effect...but so easy to install and use!

Pros
  • quality assembly
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Cannot be used with a fixed shaft such as a coupler extension

The leaflet says "NOT FOR WHOLE RODS" but this is not mentioned on the website. The magnet nut must be inserted into the receiver so it can only be used with the last item in line from the vehicle hitch.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Almost never

Fits Revain Basics bike racks.

I have this to add a stop screw to my Revain Basics bike mount: Revain Basics 2" Bike Rack. Hitch It works great. I would recommend this to other people who have bought a bike rack and need a way to attach it to their car. I haven't been able to find any other locking pins that have been found to fit the Revain Basics rack, so I hope this helps someone else. .

Pros
  • Rugged Construction
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Well it works BUT!

Operation and installation are quite simple. In theory it works great and will probably work on a small frame hitch. The description said it was for a 2" receiver, but the shaft wasn't long enough to fit through my receiver and allow the lock to be installed. SO I have a paperweight! I would send it back but I threw away the packaging. Materials that don't wait to be used. In case you're wondering, I have a Toyota Tundra with a standard 2" receiver.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Difficult to say

This is exactly what I was looking for

the first few times I fitted a trailer behind my Tesla model pulled Y, the gap in the hitch receiver made an awful sound - like the entire assembly was falling apart. Later when I bought the trunk I added this set of rattle free locking pins. It is easy to install the magnet in the clutch tube, and then use a wrench to tighten the clutch pin head and lock it for safety. There is plenty of space to work, you can't tighten the pin. I used a 5/8" head and it worked great.

Pros
  • Silent Hitch Locking Pin protects your ball joints or other accessories for attaching hollow stem hitch without rattling, more stable and reliable
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Ideal for Jeep vehicles. Fits clamps and coupling bolts

I tried several ways to stabilize the bike rack - this one finally worked. I have a 2005 Jeep Wrangler and a OneUp bike rack. Mounted directly to the bumper mount, the stand is solid (thanks to the cool OneUp design). The problem is that when you add the required hitch extension to stow the jeep's spare tire, the wobble comes back. This Quiet Hitch expansion did it! The only inconvenience is removing the extension cord when driving off-road. It's taking longer now, but it's a compromise I'm…

Pros
  • Chrome plated for corrosion protection. The set includes locking pin, wrench, magnetic block and 2 keys.
Cons
  • Some shortcomings

1200 miles so far so good

Surprised they got a second one sent pen that you can use with socket. So you get one pin to use with your wrench and a second that works with an SAE socket. I use a second hitch tensioner but I travel long distances and a very stiff and sturdy strut helps with my car's side sensors. . Less movement means fewer alarms. I also like the device they screw the pen into. Curt and some other brands use a nut welded onto a piece of steel that fits into a tab on the rail. Welds can crack and I've heard

Pros
  • 5/8" diameter and span or 2-5/8" length pin compatible for use with standard 2" x 2" hitch receiver
Cons
  • Slightly torn

So far so good - installation overview

Received a trailer basket for an upcoming holiday and found it rattled a lot when hitched up which is quite normal. I have a bike rack that won't work because an anti-rattle hitch pin/lock is installed. After searching the internet for anti-rattle adapters I came across this pin which is very similar to the pin in my bike rack and only slightly larger than these anti-rattle braces. I just installed it which took me the whole 2 minutes and it works great. I shook the cage and it didn't move…

Pros
  • 90 degree twist lock Rotates 360 degrees for easy access. Lightweight snap lock attaches to a keyless bolt for easy operation
Cons
  • Some difficulties
