I bought 2 of these with clear lenses (because they sit so low over the seedlings that the eye never sees the LEDs directly) and 2 with frosted lenses. They are identical to their 4-foot model (non-motion sensor model) except for the length. There are no problems with them yet. I also like the pull chain - from time to time I want to turn the light right into the light instead of going to its digital timer (hurts to temporarily turn it off) or turning it off.

I don't like this light. It's light and easy to install. It's brighter than the ceiling light in my kitchen with a 60 watt incandescent bulb. These lights are as easy to install and operate as any. I received it on Wednesday March 4th, plugged it in and left it on for about 12 hours. Overall this light works very well and has excellent brightness. The chain tensioner looks well built and feels premium, unlike some that feel weaker. The body of the light is also well constructed, with a painted steel frame and plastic tips that feel nice and sturdy. My only complaint is that the screw slots on either end (on the back of the mount) face different directions, making it impossible to use both sets of slots to attach the mount to a surface.
